Custom forged rings and shaft blanks
For a forged ring quote, provide outside diameter, inside diameter, height, grade and quantity. For forged shafts or shaft blanks, send the drawing, diameter profile, overall length and machining allowance. Identify whether delivery is required as a forging blank, rough-machined part or finish-machined part, and state any heat treatment and inspection requirements.
Forged shapes
Enquiries may cover forged rings, discs, shafts, bars, blocks and other drawing-based shapes. For rings, include outside diameter, inside diameter and height. For shafts and bars, include the diameter profile and length. All dimensions should distinguish the supplied blank from the finished part.
Drawing and inspection requirements
Send the latest drawing revision, material standard, quantity and delivery condition. State machining allowance, dimensional tolerances and any requested inspection or documentation. These requirements are reviewed before quotation; availability and scope are confirmed for the individual order.
